Our Mission
Trace Planet works to promote environmental regeneration as a key solution to slow down climate change, engaging communities and organizations to transition from an extractive to a regenerative mindset, and to trigger behavioural change that leads to measurable impact. We do this through research, education and developing multi-stakeholder coalitions for regeneration, always using the fashion industry as our entry point to create change.
Why fashion?
At present one of the world's dirtiest industries, fashion has immense potential to advance a regenerative agenda among farmers, citizens, companies and governments. At Trace Planet we use the global reach of the fashion industry to advance a global conversation on environmental regeneration.
Research.
We work with academia partners and other leading research institutions to throw light in the darkest areas of fashion’s opaque supply chains. We gather and contrast scientific data to debunk factoids and map the impact and progress of regenerative agriculture in global fashion supply chains.
Education.
We engage thought leaders to run offline and online workshops and events, and to design learning journeys that raise awareness on our individual roles as changemakers, connect communities with the power of environmental regeneration as a solution to climate change, and trigger individual and group behaviour change.
Coalitions.
We work with key stakeholders inside of the fashion industry to promote a regenerative agenda, raising awareness of the potential for change and creating clear pathways for engagement that lead to measurable collective change.
